Colin-I definitely want to come back and visit Laura and her family very soon.
Did you do anything exciting on the big day?For your birthday that is lol
Colin-I was flying for 8 hours that day. The summer has had incredible weather, so if it’s not raining then I am up in the air flying. We have only really had 3 days of rain so far this summer.

OUR INTERVIEW IN MAY 2017 :)
What were you doing on The Amazing Race Canada?
Colin-I produced 4 episodes called 'The Amazing Race Canada Auditions'. It's a top 10 countdown of the best audition videos that get sent into casting. I had to watch over 3000 videos and pull out the top 10 for each city and also great fun montages from the silly to sexy and the absurd to the adorable.
Did you ever think you would have had such a varied career?
Colin-I always knew that I was interested in so many things, but I try to steer to things that I am passionate about.
What gets you excited about life?
Colin-I feel very lucky with everything that life has brought me. Through hard work and determination, opportunities have fallen into place. Right now I am most excited about travel and my flight training.
Why have you decided to take up piloting again now?
Colin-It was always one of my main passions. Its a phenomenal career and the benefits of travel that come from it, will allow me to continue to see the world while being able to visit my friends that I have made along the way during my skating career.
When do you think you would be coming back to the UK?And under which umbrella?Producer, skater, pilot or something else?
Colin-I think that it could be a combination of all three ;) I will also be back to visit Laura again soon.
What goals have you yet the achieve?
Colin-I want to fly for a major airline. I'd love to be able to fly the A380.
Other goals that I have are to grow my property portfolio and eventually get into the hotelier business.
What is coming up next for you?
Colin-I'm still dabbling as a producer in TV, but my main focus will be the flight training especially this summer with good weather.
And of course we have to ask this lol...........What do you have to say in response to the dancing on ice rumours? If you got asked to come back would you seriously consider it?
Colin-Well, I don't think they are rumors anymore :) The show is coming back and it looks like they are really trying to shake things up and make it again an amazing top rated show. If the opportunity came knocking for me to be a professional or even part of the creative team, I would absolutely love to be part of it.

Here is our complete November interview with Colin :)
You made us all download snapchat…..any chance you will upload something soon, preferably in the gym like our other Colin lol
Colin-Snapchat.... there are just way too many social media apps to keep up with. Plus I feel like snapchat is simply out there send Nude pics! haha. And excuse me!? 'Our other Colin'! Colin Grafton better watch himself! lol Though maybe he's just enough inspiration to keep my abs tight!
Any programmes in Canada you are raving about at the minute?
Colin-I'm a netflixer. Just watched the major 4 - Making a Murderer, Amanda Knox, Team Foxcatcher, Audrie and Daisy
Do you have any superstitions before you go on the ice?
Colin-I don't actually. Though Brianne really likes to go through the number step by step before going out on to stage.
What's happening in the world of core150?
Colin-Core150 Canada is running on it owns accord now and solely being sold via our ambassadors and on Amazon.ca
What is the last thing that you bought?
Colin-I bought a 10 pack of classes to Crossfit (Corktown Crossfit) near my place. I started going with my friend Greg Wencel and I'm really starting to get into it! I've got a long way to go to catch up to Whitney! But she is my everday inspiration!
You might have seen tweeted that Ang is begging you to marry her ….so she wants to know Will you wear a kllt to the wedding?Good luck lol
Colin-Of course! It's tradition isn't it? Balls to the wind?
Any pets when you were a child?
Colin-I had a white toy poodle named Brandy, then I had a black lab named Target, then we had a teacup poodle named Coda and now my parents have a miniature Pomeranian named Milo.
If you were a cocktail what you be?
Colin-I'd be a Canadian classic Caesar. Filling with the right amount of spice and worldly flavor.
After Spending time with Laura and Amandas children has it made you broody #angiswilling LOL
lol!!!!!
Colin-Goodness no! I'm still a child and am not ready to have kids of my own. I love being able to spend time with them and then give them back I'm excited that Bri is almost ready to pop! Sidenote-she has had a girl now lol
How was it catching up with Cheryl after so long? #wemissher
Colin-It was soooo nice to see her. She always surprises me! I never thought a girl like her would take off and set up life in the UAE of all places! She is settling in and I'm excited that she took the plunge to adulting :)
Best bit of advice you have been given?
Colin-Treat people the way you would want to be treated. Also, never ever give up on yourself.
Of all your pet peves which is the strangest?
Colin-If someone is eating next to me and I'm not eating, the chewing drives me crazy.... I usually have to leave the room.....
What is your favourite smell?
Colin-I love Hermes.
Current aftershave of choice at the minute?
Colin-I currently use Kiehl's Iris Extract Activating Essence Treatment after I shave :)
How old were you the first time you travelled from home for a contract?
Colin-I was 17, heading to perform with Disney On Ice's - Monsters's Inc. down in Palmetto, Florida
What did your time at the skate camp entail?
Colin-I was one of 4 coaches that ran the camp. Our day was roughly from 10am-4pm and we had nearly 20 students. We did on-ice stroking, spins, jumps, program run thrus and then some fun show style elements. Off-ice consisted of conditioning, strength control, jump classes and also some seminar work that worked on the mental conditioning of the athletes.
What exactly were you doing at the TIFF?
Colin-Along with my co-producer Stephanie Prentice-Britton (who was a presenter in the UK actually) we were segment producers creating 10 mini-docs for eTalk which is Canada's #1 entertainment show. We worked with the hosts and the top 10 films at TIFF to create fun personality elements that were mixed in to showcase the films.
Anything exciting happening soon?
Colin-There are ALWAYS exciting things happening in my life. Always moving new places, continuing to play beach vball until it's far too cold, I've started a new position with BELL FIBE TV working on the specials units. Currently working on a food show called '24 hours of food' and will also be working across WE day and the SANTA CLAUSE PARADE. I've also completed all the paperwork necessary to continue flying. This was time intensive as I had to renew all my paperwork for my license and also have my medicals done. I'm going to start flying again next weekend :)
What was your favourite food whilst in the UK............and pringles do not count lol.
Colin-Why not!? Pringles and Winegums???
What attracts you to someone…..we are hoping sense of humour is one lol
Colin-Humor really is the most attractive quality in a person. Someone who can make me laugh has my heart. I also like someone who is outgoing, loves to travel, and someone who is ultimately passionate about their career. It's truly the secret to happiness in life.
How do you handle people you don’t like?
Colin-I used to be very outspoken.... but I've learnt that this really doesn't help anyone in the long run. If I don't like someone, I'm very quiet and won't interact. I am just not a person who can fake it. What's the point? Life is too short and there are billions of other people in the world to meet.
How old were you when you first performed in a professional show?
Colin-I graduated high school in June 2003 and swiftly headed to tour with Disney On Ice. I made my professional show rehearsal debut on August 1, 2003 which made me 17 years old and my official first opening night at the age of 18 at the end of August 28, 2003.
If you could teach anyone at all to skate who would it be and why?
Colin-That's quite an interesting question. I get asked a lot by people if I can teach them to skate... but rarely people are brave enough to follow through. I think it would be really fun to teach Beyoncé to skate
OUR MARCH 2016 INTERVIEW WITH COLIN :)
Q1-Do you ever google yourself?
Colin-The odd time. Google is practically your online CV these days, and employers will Google your name for research.
Q2-When we attend one of your shows and we do lots of cheering do we ever put you off or pump you up?
Colin-It’s always an extra bit of pump for us. We thrive off the energy of the audience and why we continue to perform.
Q3-How did your 30th birthday go down?
Colin-My 30th, I was surrounded by great friends and that’s all I can really ask for.
Q4-Do you get to keep the costumes in shows or are most provided?
Colin-This is about a 50/50 split. We bring some and some are provided.
Q5-Will you be doing another cruise in 2016?
Colin-Not certain yet. Definitely for a vacation. Work, we just aren’t sure yet, as it depends on a few things ;)
Q6--How do you relax if you ever do lol?
Colin-To get my mind relaxed, I typically watch tv or Netflix. I’m currently into the Scandal series.
Q7-What was the inspiration behind the 2 Pros On Ice routines?
Colin-Good kisser, has just an amazing beat behind it and we loved taking our style to a bit more of a hip hop area. Thinking Out Loud was Brianne’s obsession as she loves Ed.
Q8-You said first off that you would move here for 2years,then permanently hopefully. So has that plan now changed since you went home after the 2years?
Colin-Sadly it’s just not that easy :( Right now we have some big opportunities on the table… so who knows where it may take us. Hopefully we can continue to come back to the UK as often as possible.
Q9-Why did you decide against Singapore this year?
Colin-I absolutely love the team in Singapore, but we were given an amazing opportunity this year and couldn’t pass it up (watch this space). I hope to return there in the future so that Brianne can explore Singapore.
Q10-What was your favourite Pros On Ice move?
Colin-Brianne and I always enjoy listening and moving to new music. It was fun to be lifted in the boys number and experience what the girls typically have to do.
Q11-Did you have full control over your Pros On Ice routines?ie music, moves etc.
Colin-For the most part we have control over what we want to do. For obvious reasons, there cant be music overlap, so it’s first come first serve with that, and then fine tweaks if there are any major issues by the producers.
Q12-If you were a sweet/candy what would you be and why?
Colin-Probably a winegum, I mean… lets be honest, I eat waaaaay too many of them.
Q13-What is the best and worse thing about touring?
Colin-There are so many great things about touring and the reason I continue to do it. The con is not seeing friends and family enough.
Q14-How long did it take you to be talked into wearing the firemans outfit?
Colin-lol! Not long, lets be honest :) I work hard in the gym to show it off ;)
Q15-What was it like to be touring the UK again with Pros On Ice?
Colin-Bri and I love the UK and it always feels like a second home.
Q16-What are your thoughts that people were saying there wasn't enough pro routines and too much local talent on the Pros On Ice tour?
Colin-The greatest thing about the Pro’s On Ice tour is our ability to promote local talent and to help them grow into professionals like us one day.
Q17-Will you be a sexy Santa in Biloxi do you know?
Colin-haha. There is a real life Santa here as you have seen from the pictures :)
Q18-What are your plans for Christmas and New Year?
Colin-Christmas we will be down in Mississippi. New Years, will be spent in Toronto with friends.
Q19-Tell us about Santa and Friends in Biloxi.
Colin-This is a really family friendly fun show. It has Santa, Mrs. Claus, two elves and a fantastic well-rounded cast.
Q20-What is a fun fact about Brianne we may not know.
Colin-She has multiple superstitious things that she does before she does a show. Some that I don’t even know about.
Q21-It looks like you and Brianne have gelled into a great partnership.............so who is in charge?
Colin-We have such a great relationship. We are very opposite and its why it works. We take charge in different ways.
Q22-Did you have to hit the gym more to work on the abs as there was a topless routine in Pros On Ice,or did you not know until after you arrived in the UK?
Colin-I didn’t know until I got to the UK. I like to keep fit all the time just in case moments like that happen lol.
Q23-What is your favourite item of clothing that you own?
Colin-I love my sports boxers. I would happily just wear those everywhere. BUT I do also love a great pair of shoes/boots.
Q24-Will we ever get to meet Ruckie lol?
Colin-Maybe one day :) You have to remind me! He’s oh so shy!
Though we doubt the answer to the last one lol, as we have been told by Ruckie that he thinks the boss doesn't like to share the limelight when he is with his fans, which is why we haven't met him YET!!!!
AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT........WE ASKED COLIN IF HE COULD DO US A BLOG WHILST ON THE INDY.............HE KINDLY OBLIGED BUT SEEMED TO HAVE SENT IT VIA MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE POST HENCE IT IS NOW IT'S BEING PUBLISHED LOL
A typical day would start obviously with food but breakfast was only available until 9am… so I would usually get up at 8:55am to catch some food.Which was 4 hard boiled eggs.. egg whites only, some fruit, two yogurts and orange juice.
On a show day all members of the cast are required to do a 30 minute warm up. The shows would typically be at 2pm and 4pm and the show length was about 45 minutes long.Though we don’t exactly have “off” days. There is always some sort of job to be done every single day. Even it that means only 30 minutes of something… But we do get most of the ports off and would try to see everything.I had a bucket list of things that I wanted to do in every port and would plan it out so that I did everything. No regrets is what I live by. I saw everything :) Also We are all trained in emergency duties, because primarily we are a floating hotel and guests safety is priority. Other jobs would include spotting and dressing the productions shows, as they do for our shows. We do public skating sessions which the cast would rotate to run those. I would also pick up extra jobs which would pay an hourly rate for some extra cash. I would work Art Auction and Port & Shopping
As for being recognised......We were the odd time. But because the guests are primarily American, no one knows what we do. We also don’t have much interaction with the guests on a daily basis.
.
The bonus was my mom and best friends came to cruise and we get family discounts which are very cheap. It was both their first time on a ship, so it was really cool to show them the ways of the ships and then in port we just tried to see as much as we could.Though we could keep in touch as wifi is available but its extremely expensive. The crew always seem to know the best wifi places in ports, and we spend far too much time in cafes catching up with loved ones and of course too much time on social media...
Most days i attended the gym the independence has the best facility in the fleet. There are now 22 ships in Royal Caribbean. My roommate and I would go to the gym 5 days a week and luckily for me Cordero was just as good a motivation to me as I was for him.
All the cast have become great friends as we come as a cast. It’s ten of us in total. We understudy each other in the case someone is OUT. We did a total of 4 shows a week. Two shows typically on day 2 of the cruise and two shows on day 6 of the cruise. The shows stay the same on each ship. It’s too expensive to swap the show and its easier for guests to try different ships as it typically turns out.
And just in case you were wondering about Ruckie.....he is quiet as he has a family of two other small bags… he could be sulking as I have done my first blog, I don’t know. lol

Colin-We had to come prepared with two solos. The was the quick work and professionalism of the rest of the cast and Steven Cousins.
What was it like to play in your hometown?
Colin-Toronto is my second hometown if you will. If was nice to be in the country to celebrate Christmas with my family.
What do your guns measure?
Colin-Never measured actually. But they are gonna be huge when I finish on the ship as I'm in the gym 6 days a week.

Colin-I'm not much of a drinker to be honest.. But I do love a Caesar. (Canadian drink kind of like a bloody mary)
..........and how many would we have to buy you to get you drunk :)
Colin-Only 1 or 2.
What would you do if they ever stopped producing winegums?
Colin-haha.
How has the production experience shaped your career?
Colin-It makes you understand the pressures from both sides and opens your mind to the bigger picture.
Tell us more about Freeze Frame?
Colin-Freeze Frame is a show that takes the audience on a journey through the ages of music from the 40's to the 80's. Excellent Music and Brianne and I skate to Proud Mary in the 70's section.
Colin-Maybe one or two :)

COLIN
Question 1-How did Pros On Ice come about?
Brianne was supposed to originally skate with Sylvain, but due to other work commitments he wasn't able to do it. Luckily I was Canada based near where Brianne lives and we could get the time in that we needed to put together some fantastic routines.
Question 2-You're back here in the UK........sooooo have you missed us?
I absolutely love the UK. Hopefully I can come back again more often.
Question 3-Will we see some abs and guns in this show ie pros on ice :)
