Something else we knew in advance but had to keep quiet was the HUGE news that Colin would be touring Europe. He will be THE LEAD ROLE in a Holiday On Ice production celebrating their 75th anniversary. The show will be touring France, Germany and Austria, starting in December 2018 through until April 2019.
Whilst onboard the navigator of the seas we were given the top secret news that Colin would be this year appearing at The CNE (The Canadian National Exhibition), in a show entitled Quatro. The CNE is held in Toronto from 17th Aug to 3rd September this year. Also appearing there were Hamish-who appeared in last years Dancing on ice,and the winning pro from dancing on ice Vanessa. Of course one of our lot popped over :)
We went onboard the Navigator of the seas on the 27th May 2018 and had a fantastic week of Colin and sunshine :)
So we thought we would strike whilst the iron is hot and conduct another interview :)
Any plans to come back to the UK so your UK fans can see you?
Colin- I would love to come back and spend some time in the UK................ Actually I'm here in the UK today writing you from Southampton. :)
You had previously mentioned your venture into fashion with "by Grafton" can you tell us how that's coming along?
Colin-It's coming along!!!! We should be officially launching ByGrafton some time this year ( Mid year). Stay tuned ;)
What did you think about getting your Lord Colin Grafton title?
Colin-I was really shocked. So cool. Probably the most interesting and exciting gifts I've been given!
Are we expected to curtsey next time we see you and call you Lord Colin!!!
Colin-Since you are the lovely people who ordained my this title, you are pardoned from such burdens. ;)

What is your preference for a contract do you prefer being on a cruise ship or something like Hot Ice ?
Colin- I think each contract that I take has different things to offer, and I can't say I like one more than another. For example, on ships you can visit many amazing cities and countries, however we have very small living quarters. A contract like Hot Ice, we stay in one city however we live in nice apartments. That is just one example of how contracts vary.
Do you have a kilt and are you going to wear it to yours and Angela's wedding after you have divorced MrsCollieG first of course (sorry Kitty!)
Colin-I do not have a kilt............. but I'm sure I could ask my good friend Jamie Wright to borrow one for such an occasion. Especially having land in Scotland now :)
Can you give us any clues on what's next after your contract ends on Navigator of the seas?
Colin-Stay tuned :)
Tell us truthfully were you panicking when you heard some of Colinfansdotcom were going to go on a cruise on the ship you were on? (Did you think you could escape from us lol
Colin-I may have panicked slightly....... haha No I'm kidding. It always nice to see ColinFans, and I am so thankful for the support.
What cruise ship would you like to perform on that you haven't already, or have you been on every one?
Colin- I have definitely not been on every one.......... just three. Navigator, Liberty, and Mariner. I don't have a specific ship I'd like to go on, however I think it would be fun to try one of the really big ships at some point!

Can you tell us a bit about the show on navigator of the seas?
Colin-The show on the Navigator is called Ice Dancin' . It is a great show that really takes you for a ride. From a classic opening to Fred Astaire, to a hockey number, to some scenes from Moulin Rouge and Carlos Santana, you definitely see it all!
How did you get the contract on Navigator Of The Seas? What made you take this contract?
Colin-I was asked by Willy Bietek productions to consider the contract. I took this contract because I was familiar with the show was was offered to skate a role I really enjoy skating, the "Santana" role. In addition the ships itinerary was just amazing! It was a hard offer to refuse.
Tell us something that you have to do while aboard the ship that isn't Ice Skating related?
Colin- Every time a new cruise starts I am in charge of a muster station, showing the guests were to come in case of an emergency. Also, we help out the dancers and singers backstage during their shows, as they do for us.
We are still waiting for a day in life of Colin on ship blog!!!..... can you tell us a typical day for you?
Colin-Really depends on the day really. But on a typical show day.. I will wake up around 9, make some porridge and coffee and or tea in the cabin. Then I will go to Studio B (ice venue) and do an off ice warm up for about 30 minutes. Then I will jump on the ice for another 30 minutes to do an on ice warm up. After that, I return to my cabin shower, shave, show makeup etc to get ready. I will usually go to the Mess "eating area" for another quick snack before going back to the venue to have notes. As a cast we sit down and talk about the show, corrections etc. Ill have the first show, and short break and then a second show. After the shows I'm usually pretty tired and I will sit down and stretch for about a half hour. After this back to the cabin to shower and change... DINNER TIME!! If I don't have any other obligations during the evening I will usually have a nice dinner, and or go watch another show happening around the ship.
What do you do on your downtime on the ship?
Colin-Downtime.... Gym, Pool Deck, Visiting Ports, watching movies, doing other work.. nothing too interesting !
April 2017 and we have seen Colin go off to Japan for a 6 month tour on board The Mariner of the seas a cruise ship from The Royal Caribbean International. The show he will be performing in is called Under The Big Top........we cannot wait to see photos of this :)
PHOTO FROM UNDER THE BIG TOP
STRAIGHT FROM JAPAN.
A QUICK Q AND A FROM THE SEAS OF ASIA :)
What is the best and worst thing about being on the ship?
Colin-I'm not sure there is one best thing, because there are many great things about living on board. Everything is convenient, and your always surrounded by happy people which is nice. One of my favorite things I must say is always having great food available 24.7 😋 On the contrary, the worst thing would definitely have to me the lack of wifi and how expensive it is !
What is a typical day like on board?
Colin-Depends on the day ! Typical show day consists of warming up for the show , one or two shows (depending) cooling down from th show , having a nice dinner and watching our performance on the tv. On our off days, we enjoy exploring and trying different Asian cuisines, especially in Japan !
Do you have any other duties on board?
Colin-We do have a few other duties such as helping the dancers and singers backstage during the production shows ( as they help us also) and monitoring the public skating sessions.
The best place you have visited so far?
Colin-Japan 😍 What an amazing country! Love every city I've seen in this country so far ! What an amazing combination of history and culture as well as being very modern, and again THE FOOD 🥘, Ramen 🍜 are everything !
Will the family manage to squeeze in a visit whilst you are there?
Colin-I wish !!!! Asia is very far from USA as you know, and seeing the fam was out to visit me twice in Europe this year , they will not be making the trip to Asia. Next time.......

AND THE CURTAIN GOES UP
ON THE NEXT 6MONTHS OF UNDER THE BIG TOP
The first selfies of the tour :)
WE HAVE BEEN SEARCHING AND SEARCHING.........WAITING AND WAITING PATIENTLY.........UNTIL WE FOUND PHOTOS OF COLIN DOING THE ELUSIVE SOLO IN HOLIDAY ON ICE BELIEVE.......WE MISSED IT LIVE IN BRIGHTON SO OF COURSE NEEDED TO SEE IT IN ANY FORMAT WE COULD........WE ARE HAPPY TO HAVE NOW VIEWED IT :)
As we met Colin in Brighton in January.......we thought it would be rude not to ask for an interview :)
Do you have anymore photoshoots coming up?
Colin-I have a few planned coming up in the next few months back in USA.
Where is the strangest place you have been recognised by a fan?
Colin-This one is funny but happens to be true… lol.. In the mens bathroom at a random restaurant in Toronto.
What is the strangest thing a fan has ever done?
Colin-Strangest… hmm… I’ve had a few strange things over the years.. love letters, some personalised boxer briefs… I also get a kick out of some of your twitter profile pictures ;) haha
Do the rest of your family ice skate?
Colin-I am the first professional skater in my family, however I have heard my lovely grandmother Elaine enjoyed skating on ponds and lakes when she was younger. In addition, Ive seen my mom Megan skate a few times, and she is definitely better than average! Also my brother Kyle and dad Roy are both very skilled on hockey skates, and my cousins Elana and Kaela used to take skating lessons. So I guess we can all skate a bit.
If you won a huge lottery win would you give up professional skating?
Colin-No. If I won the lottery, there are MANY things I would do. (haha) But giving up on something I love doing is not one of them.
Have you ever been approached to do a fitness video?Would you consider it?
Colin-I’ve never been approached to make a video. I would consider it definitely. There are some great ab exercises that I think people could really enjoy doing, and also see results while doing so. Maybe in the future.
And the one we have been waiting for...............lol
Who is really your favourite Colinfan lol :)
Colin-My favourite ColinFan is………
You'll never know ;)
What do you plan on doing after the tour ends?
I do have plans following the end of this tour, stay tuned… ;)
If you go back to the previous interview.....you answered people you don't like you kill with kindness....don't you like us then as you are VERY kind to us? lol
Of course not!… I am nice to the people I like also ;) See the trick? you never know who I don't like ;) haha
What skating role would you love to do?
Ideally, I love skating roles in which I can do some pairs and also Solo skating. I have had a few roles in the past which have allowed this, and by far this is my favourite role to play. In regards to a role I haven't done.. I still have not had the opportunity to skate in front of a live band or orchestra. I definitely would love to do this in my career at some point.
Who would you like to partner on the ice?Anyone?
This is a tough one! I have to say I have been so lucky in this respect. Every partner I have worked with in the past, has been such a joy to work with, and each one has taught me something new about myself/skating. As far as the future is concerned, Im not sure if I can answer this question as there might be a few girls who kill me if I answer incorrectly ;)
Would you ever choreograph your own show?
If the opportunity was to arise, I would love to choreograph my own show. I definitely would not be able to do it alone however, so I would bring some other skaters on board with me.
Do you have a celebrity crush?
Everyone loves asking this one. Celeb Girl Crush: Selena Gomez Celeb Man crush: Nick Jonas
Is there anything skating wise you wish you could do or still intend learning to do-ie the backflip.
Oh Yes! There is always more to learn and accomplish. This year I started practicing the “Russian split jump” for the first time.. and now it is one of my favourite tricks to perform. As far as backflip, Ill never say never, but its not high on my list of tricks to learn. My mom may have forbid me. haha.
If they made a film about you, who would play you?
I honestly don't know. I would really have to do some research for that one. Any ideas....
Well Colin........we would love Tom Hardy in the leading role lol
If you had a cocktail named after you, what would be in it and what would it be called?
hmmm I think “Coco’s Champagne Cocktail” seems fitting…? It would definitely have to include a nice champagne, not too dry, not too sweet, along with a few other natural ingredients, to make it the most delicious and refreshing, smooth cocktail anyone has every had. ;) I’ll have my fellow Hot Ice cast member Simon-Pierre Cote help me out with this one. He is the champagne master :)
Are you starting to relax now you're not in the same country as us lol?
Colin-To relax would be a rookie move ;) You have eyes everywhere! (haha)
How long did you hide in the hotel after we had left Brighton?
Colin-Just long enough to escape to the pub with some of the boys for a beer, or visit “Club Kahn” (a cast made hotel shish bar” (haha) with Richard Khan and Josh Cowell, two guys from the cast.
What job would you be doing if not a pro skater?
Colin-I actually get asked this question quite often. Its a hard one. There are so many different things I would like to do. I think if I wasn't a skater, I would most likely still be involved in performing in some way. I also love swimming, so perhaps a swimmer.
Are you ticklish?
Colin-YES, in a few places........

Colin-YES, in a few places........
What do you feel most proud of?
Colin-Good question. I think its hard to narrow it down to one thing to be proud of in life. As far as life goes, I am incredibly proud of my family. I am so lucky to be a part of a family, that is so giving, loving, and has good hearts. In terms of my career, I am proud of many things. Of course my competitive career was a highlight, but also I am proud of the work I have put in to become a better skater and accomplish goals I have set for myself over the last few years, along with allowing myself to try new things other than skating in this past year.
What is the most embarrassing moment during your skating career?
Colin-One of my first shows in Mexico… I put my costume on backwards and did not have time to correct it before the number started. Lets just say instead of having a deep “V neck” in the front , I had a deep “V neck” in the back. Too funny. oops.
How would you cope if snapchat went down for 24 hours?
Colin-Honestly, I would be fine. Snapchat is fun, and a great way to be in the loop with what your friends and family are doing in “real time.” Definitely its a fun app to use when you have some free time. If It was to go down, I would survive. The real question is… would you? ;) haha
What's a typical day on tour like?
Colin-Typical day on tour: Wake up, breakfast before 10 am or you'll miss it. Shower, Head to the venue. Either rehearsals or warm up, followed by a half hour warm up ice for myself and a few other skaters. Hair and makeup, and pre-setting of costumes etc. Then we have “Notes” as a cast about the upcoming show. Then we have 1, 2, or 3 shows ( two hours each) depending on the day. After the show, pack up & look for dinner, and relax, get some sleep for the next day of shows. Its a very busy schedule and also very demanding on the body. But it keeps us in good shape ;)

NEW MODELLING GIG IN GERMANY FOR BMW :)
UNFORTUNATELY FOR US WHEN WE SAW COLIN PERFORM IN HOLIDAY ON ICE WE MISSED HIM PLAYING A MAIN ROLE. SO WE WERE VERY HAPPY WHEN WE DISCOVERED PHOTOS AND VIDEOS OF HIM PERFORMING.
AFTER SEEING COLIN PERFORM IN BLACKPOOL LAST SUMMER,THEN MEETING HIM AFTER, WE DISCOVERED HE WOULD BE PERFORMING IN THE UK AS PART OF THE HOLIDAY ON ICE FRANCHISE, AND WOULD BE PERFORMING IN JANUARY IN BRIGHTON.IT TOOK US ALL OF 2MINUTES TO DECIDE WE WOULD TAKE THE TRIP DOWN THERE LOL
THE SHOW WAS FANTASTIC WE DECIDED AFTER SEEING IT TWICE :) THE FIRST TIME WAS CURTESY OF COLIN......WHEN WE DISCOVERED TRAVELLING THERE THAT WE WOULD BE FRONT ROW.........WE ARE SURPRISED THEY DIDN'T HEAR OUR EXCITEMENT ALL THE WAY IN THE VENUE :) HE VERY KINDLY MET US AFTER THE SHOW AND EVEN APPEARED THE SECOND NIGHT WITH WINE IN HAND.......THIS WE LIKED VERY MUCH LOL AND ALONG WITH LOTS OF POSING PHOTOS WE HAD A FABULOUS TIME :) WE ALSO MET ROBIN AND ANDY FOR A QUICK CHAT :)
WE ARE VERY THANKFULL TO COLIN FOR GIVING US THIS OPPORTUNITY :)
WE ARE VERY THANKFULL TO COLIN FOR GIVING US THIS OPPORTUNITY :)
OUR REVIEW OF OUR TIME IN BRIGHTON FOR HOLIDAY ON ICE BELIEVE AND MEETING COLIN :)
KITTY-From the moment the lights went down and the narrator begun, i was captivated by a truely memorable show. From the beautiful lines and emotions of the skaters, to the backdrops and accompanying music. The whole show was just perfection. Andy and Robin have such amazing chemistry together and brought the story to life. Andy having us all chuckling at the comedic chair (scene) and Robin gracefully portraying (falling in love). Obviously we were there to see one of our favourite skaters and semi-principle in this production and again, we werent disappointed. Colin Grafton and that spin!! Those moves!! That body haha and not forgetting the pole dancer and the light suits #Believe is definitely my favourite ice show so far. 5* production.
SHARON-To decide to travel from Scotland to the bottom of the UK to watch an ice show is not to be taken lightly, it's the planning of travel, accommodation etc. To be fair there is not many people I would make that journey for. It's fair to say that when you plan a road trip with some fab friends Colin Grafton is one of those people you will travel to watch perform. This was my first experience of seeing a holiday on ice production- believe their only stop in the U.K. was Brighton. You can tell the hours and hours of rehearsals these skaters have put in, what an action packed, creative and stunning production. Big applause to all involved. Lots of tricks, entertaining while a few scary backflips (watching with held breath that they would land them still on the ice) Andy's characterisation while making the art of controlling a chair on ice was for sure a highlight. Both upbeat and expressive music was a great mix and got the audience clapping away with some enthusiastic cheering from our group lol. We got to see the show twice in 2 days, well after all you take more in the 2nd time? It's all the frantic "can you see Colin?" Screams of "GoColin, whoop whoop" hopefully not putting him off at the same time. Unfortunately we didn't get to see Colin in his solo performance as he later advised that they switch in and out and these two shows were not one of those occasions he was the soloist. We will just have to find it on you tube lol. It's always a thrill to support Colin and to get to see him perform live, the poor guy still after all the madness agrees to see us for pictures and a chat when no doubt he is tired and hungry. So Colin thank you for your time and making the road trip that little bit more special. #memories If you are near to one of the European venues I recommend that you try and see this show and if you do make sure you shout loudly for the amazing cast.
JOOLS-It was a trip that had been planned many months in advance,At last my crazy friends were travelling down to my neck of the woods.A trip to Brighton to see Holiday On Ice Believe. And believe me it was amazing!A futuristic Romeo and Juliet story but with a happy ending! The chemistry between Andy and Robin could convince any sceptic that love can overcome any boundaries. The whole cast were outstanding and on such small ice their judgement was impeccable.Of course the main attraction was the ever loveable Colin Grafton, who as well as being a talented skater is also one of the nicest guys EVER!!!
Meeting us after both shows and bringing wine-what more could you ask for!!!Definately a trip to remember-great friends,an awesome show and of course the woo woos!
JULIE-Well from the minute the first skater came onto the ice to the minute the last one left I was captivated!!Mainly in part as I thought all the males were topless lol but a vest is just as good I have now found!!!We were all there ready to cheer on Colin Grafton, who after giving us tickets the first night, made us promise to be loud!!Oh dear,he perhaps didn't realise just quite how loud we can be!!The story is a love story in the underworld, with Robin and Andy billed as the leads-these two are amazing to watch when they are on the ice together. And are such lovely people to meet with after. It had a story, amazing tricks and choreography all performed by amazing skaters. There was even a chair routine with Andy that had us chuckling all the way through it-a bit of light relief that still showed exceptional skills on the ice.The ice was much smaller than other venues but you wouldn't even know it thanks to the professionals skills, except for the backflips going very close to the edge....but that added to all the excitement for us.This is not my first Holiday On Ice show but it is my favourite. The only shame was that we didn't get to see Colin in the lead role as they alternate for this. But we always see a positive as we worked out he would have been on the ice less if he had been the lead!!
Colin was of course as lovely as ever and met us after both shows despite needing to have a haircut and food!!The first one was in my opinion just to calm us down a little ready for the one on the Thursday.Colin very kindly offered to bring us prosecco and have a drink with us at the second meeting. We of course accepted lol There we had a chat had lots of photos and met some of the other awesome pros!
It was another fantastic few days away meeting fabulous friends, watching an awesome show and supporting and hugging(top hugger) an amazing and handsome guy-even if we have been discussing who is his favourite one of our gang since lol :) So THANK YOU very much Colin for all that you did for us in Brighton,we really appreciated it x

July 2016 and coinciding with the start of the run of the long running ice show Hot Ice.We asked Colin for an interview :) Once again he obliged us.
Here is the complete interview :)
1-Have you any tips on how to stay cool in the summer?
Colin-Hmm, my tips to stay "cool in the summer", Im definitely a big fan of anything by the water.. Love swimming in the summer, and having a nice cold refreshing lemonade. Also, you could spend some time in an ice rink like me.... keeps you pretty chill :)
2-If you were a cocktail what you be?
Colin-Easy. Any sort of champagne cocktail , unless I'm in Mexico.. either a Tequila Sunrise, or a Sex on the beach.
3-What is your favourite outfit to wear?
Colin-Currently Ive been fan of simple, solid color, yet classy clothing. I wear a lot of grey, white and black. I think sometimes less is more. I must admit, I usually have multiple wardrobe changes per day, but my "go to" outfits as of late consist of Slim fit black pants, with either a grey or white slim fit shirt, complete with a brown belt and brown shoes. I do however like to mix and match and play around with new ideas.

4-Describe yourself in 10 words or less without using buns of steel lol :)
Colin-HAHA! Its always hard to describe yourself, but I'll give it a go. Energetic, loving, passionate, dramatic, observative, fun, determined, and sometimes lazy :)
5-What sweet/candy would you be and why?
Colin-A Hot Tamale! Im not sure if they exist in the UK, but they are sweet, and also spicy with the taste of cinnamon! I love them, and you must try!
6-Of all your pet peeves which is the strangest?
Colin-When people have dry hands and they turn the pages of a book. I hate that sound, and it makes me cringe thinking about it, haha.
7-Will any of your family be coming to the UK whilst you are in Hot Ice?
Colin-Unfortunately I don't think so this year, but I will have many friends coming to visit throughout the summer.
8-How did you manage to get modelling /photoshoot contracts?
Colin-I have to say I have been pretty lucky in that aspect. My FIRST ever photo shoot was arranged after a photographer approached Nobahar and I at a bar in Denver, and asked us to do a skating themed shoot. We ended up getting some great photos, and since then, Ive been asked to do random photo shoots around the world. As far as fashion week, I was asked to come in for a casting by the designer Alex Vinash, (which I was very nervous for), and he ended up choosing me to walk in the show. Again, I consider myself very lucky!
9-What are you looking forward to the most (apart from skating) being back in the Uk?
Colin-Of course I am very excited about performing in the Hot Ice show again this year, its always a fantastic cast, and this year happens to be the 80th Anniversary, pretty exciting! Ive always loved the British culture, and the people. I look forward to seeing friends, exploring new nearby towns (when I have a little time), and of course some fun nights out! Also, of course I cant forget to add seeing the "ColinsFans Crew" as something to look forward to! ;)
10-What is involved in rehearsals for Hot Ice? How long do they run for?
There are an immense amount of things involved in the rehearsals for the Hot Ice Show, and believe me its not always easy. From learning the choreography, timing, spacing, and music, to the costume changes, and all of the lighting, its quite an extraordinary process. Its amazing to see all of these things start piecing together in a span of around three weeks that ultimately creates one truly amazing show.
11-Are you especially excited as Nobahar will be starring in it with you?
Colin-I am BEYOND excited to be performing along side Nobahar this summer. "Noby" as I call her, is one of my dearest friends, and I am so happy we have the chance to spend the summer performing together. Whenever we are together, some crazy, wild, and great things tend to happen.. I hope England is ready for us ! ;)
5-As we know, you have a great singing voice so what is your favourite song to sing?
Colin-Thank you! Currently my favorite song to sing in "Pillowtalk" by Britain's own, Zayn Malik.
6-How do you handle people you don’t like?
Colin-In the words of my girl Selena Gomez ... "Kill em with kindness" :)
7-What is the last thing that you bought?
Colin-An iced coffee from Dunkin Donuts !
April 2016 where we got our fill of watching ice skating, even though it was mainly via You Tube and Snapchat :) As Colin once again returned to Mexico to perform in Illusion On Ice in Pueblo.
Colin is turning into a model all over the place :)

March 2016-Colin recently, this weekend in fact, travelled to New York where he took part in New York Fashion Week as a model for the designer Alex Vinash. We kept up with all the action via his snapchat account :)
Colin travelled to Wolfburg,Germany on the 3rd of November to begin rehearsals for his next performance which will be held at the Autostadt Pavillion in Wolfsberg. The show will open on the 27th November. The only details we currently have are and we quote Colin "that it is completely different to years past. There is a massive dance influenece in the choreograhy, which has been challenging but looks fantastic. The show will run until the 6th January 2016"
Additional details which have nothing really to do with the show but we thought you may enjoy like we did lol "There is a spa that we have free access to during rehearsals,so we have all been taking full advantage of the sauna, steam room pools and jacuzzis. The funny part about the German spa's is that there are no clothes allowed.Being American I am certainly not accustomed to that. But I guess that's the beauty of travelling to new places haha"
We are sat waiting patiently for the snapchat of THAT lol :)

Colin was born on the 19th September 1991 in Providence, Rhode Island. He is an American pairs skater. With former partner Kylie Duarte he is the U.S. junior bronze medalist in 2012.
HE VERY KINDLY ALLOWED US TO INTERVIEW HIM
Who are your skating influences/heroes?
Colin-I started skating after watching Tara Lipinski win gold in 1998. I also love Scott Hamilton. I was lucky enough to skate in Stars on Ice with them when I was 9 years old, and this experience inspired me to progress in my skating career.
Do you prefer singles or pair skating?
Colin-In a perfect world, I love doing both. I love the feeling of skating with someone by your side and accomplishing things and perfecting things as a team. I enjoy lifting and throwing girls :) At the same time I thoroughly enjoy skating by myself and having the freedom to skate and express myself as a solo skater.
Any skills off the ice?
Colin-Hmmm... when I put my mind to it, I think I am a decent chef ;)
What is your favourite lift or move?
Colin-My favourite jump is triple salchow, I love spinning, and I love doing throws with girls.

What do you make of the UK audiences?
Colin-I have loved skating for the UK audience. I think that typically, the British audience respects skating, and appreciates the beauty and presentation of skating, rather than just appreciating the tricks. We had some absolutely fantastic crowds this summer, especially when the Colinsfans ladies were in attendance ;)
What song gets you on the dancefloor?
Colin-I love music so much so it doesn't take me much... but there are a few songs on the UK top 40 right now that get me going... my summer song was "Jealous" by Nick Jonas.
Did you try any British cuisine whilst you were here that you wished you hadn't?
Colin-I did! There were a few British cast members so I had the privilege of trying British Scones, and Also Tarts, and various desserts. Of course I would have liked to try the standard fish and chips, but I hate seafood, so I had to skip that one ;)
Tell us a fact we don't know about you.
Colin-Yo Hablo Espanol ;) And according to trusty google translate it means I speak Spanish lol

Do you manage to do any workouts or get distracted by taking selfies? (not that we are complaining lol)
Colin-I really enjoy working out, and also Im pretty good at taking selfies ... so I guess they go hand in hand haha
How do you get your buns of steel looking like that? :)
Colin-HAHA, I don't know how to answer that one ;) ...... I guess nothing in particular, skaters use those muscles a lot so that helps.. and yeah Im not sure. haha

Tell us about your competitive career........
Colin-Looking back at my competitive career, I am very proud of what I was able to accomplish. I started out competing singles, and pairs came into the picture later on. I was able to have success in both but most of my success came in skating pairs with my long time and only competitive partner Kylie Duarte. We were able to grab 4 national medals including being national champions as intermediates. I was able to compete all over the world in Junior Grand Prix ISU events, and in 2012 represent the USA at the Junior World Championships. It was a great final year of competition!

What is next on the agenda?
Colin-As you know I had the pleasure to meet some of you at the "Hot Ice Show" here in England, as the show has concluded (today) actually...there is a very busy year to come following the show. Exciting news to be announced soon.
Do you have any superstitions before entering the ice for a show?
Colin-I have just one major superstition, but it is mainly seeing a black cat. As far as skating goes, I don't have to many superstitions, but rather a few OCD things such as pre-setting my costumes a certain way etc. (nothing too exciting) haha.
How did you get the contract for Hot Ice?
Colin-I was working on Royal Caribbean performing on the ice shows when I had a conversation with my great mate Michael Chau who suggested I come work for Hot Ice. Emails were then exchanged between myself and the management of the show, and next thing I knew it was summer and I was on my way to the UK.
